I stayed up late last night attempting to make a few last minute Christmas gifts. This was my first real attempt at making jewelry and now I want to keep one for myself. Also it was just really fun.

Last week I wrapped my camera in condoms and jumped into my swimming pool fully clothed with friends. These are the results.
Miss Hrrrthrrr, who makes beautiful things, made and sent this beautiful little package of things for Maxx and Lucy. It was filled with lovely little surprises, including one of her handmade mobiles. <3
I love the Made Shop family so much! They have been such kind and inspiring friends that I wanted to do a little somethin’ somethin’ for them. And I seem to be going through such a sock phase so I made sure to throw in socks for the whole family. Socks for all!!
I get really excited when it comes to designing stuff for other people. So I was super happy to get to help out another creative girl with a new website. I’m happy with how it came out and it helped that Amanda was so easy to work with! All the little icons are my favorite. Have a look at the whole she-bang… (and she’s giving away one of my necklaces!)
Put a Bird Jackalope On It: A brand new painting made just for Malty.
I’m pretty addicted to these little paintings on wood that I’ve been doing. But this raw slice could be my new favorite medium. I love creating something new on something organic.
Psssst!! Did you see that I gave my website a full redesign? (FINALLY!!)… I mean, let’s be real, it was way overdue. That dark brown background was just killing me.
I’m still working out details here and there, but I’m pretty jazzed about how it all came together!
After way too long, I finally got around to doing this commissioned painting on wood for Megan. She sent me the phrase and said to do whatever I wanted, so this is what I came up with. (I’m also in a constant love affair with chevron patterns)
Sometimes when I’m in a funk it’s nice to have a little project like this one, where someone gives me some direction and a little push.
I’ve been playing around with the idea of creating a family tree. Something nontraditional that could also be a piece of art.
Made some art on set today.
