Really loving this track off her newest album. I was driving home from work yesterday in the middle of the afternoon — windows down, this song on, and me singing like a dork down Sunset Blvd. It’s cool. I’m a happy dork.

So I know this ridiculously inspiring and creative guy across the country and we have started this little exchange project of sorts. Every month we will be sending each other something creative through the mail. There really are no guidelines to it. And I like that it can take any form.
He happens to be one of those gross people that spews creativity in its every form. He can make the simplest experiences seem magical through words and images.
Anyway, this is what I sent for February.
Getting an email after he opened it and hearing that he loved it made me seriously siked. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out of this little correspondence.
I feel like these used to be a lot bigger.

This weekend we checked out the tide pools in Laguna Beach. Apparently it was supposed to be the lowest tide of the year. Also…these boots are perfect for tide pooling! (via hrrrthrrr)

So Brett won a silver medal. I guess that’s good or whatever. (!!!)
Today I wrote them down and stuck them where I have to see them every day. And every time I sit down to work on something I’ll be reminded of them. I’m especially excited about a cool new collaborative project that got going last night.
So hopefully I’ll have some cool stuff to show for it in the near future!
